The listing is the bit that actually gets called.
More people will find you through your Google listing than your website. It's free, it takes an hour to do properly, and almost nobody does it properly.
Your Business
What actually gets fixed.
The category, first
This is the single most powerful setting in local search and it takes ten seconds to change. 'Contractor' when your money is in roofing costs you the map pack outright. It's the first thing I look at and it's wrong more often than not.
Your home address, hidden
If you travel to customers you should be set up as a service-area business, with the street address hidden and your towns listed instead. Most contractors have their home address published on the internet without realising it.
Everything else filled in
Services with real descriptions, hours including holidays, photos of your work, and a reply under every review. None of it is clever. All of it is skipped.
What working with me looks like.
We talk
I ask what you do, where you work, and what happens when you miss a call. You ask me anything. If it's not a fit I'll say so.
You send me a short form
Your services, your towns, your hours, some photos of your work. Then I build the site and set the system up. You do nothing.
We go live
I walk you round it, show you where the leads land, and you call your own number so you see what a customer sees. That's it.
The things people actually ask.
What if I've lost access to my listing?
Common, and fixable. Usually someone set it up years ago on an email nobody remembers. There's a recovery process and I'll walk it with you.
What if I don't have one at all?
Then you're invisible in the part of Google that matters most, and that's the easiest win you'll get this year. Google will want to verify you're real, usually a short video or a postcard, and I'll walk you through it.
